Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in the detection, investigation, and prevention of synthetic, identity, and new account application fraudImplement, tune, and administer endpoint process and product solutions that enable protection and prevention capabilities within our digital marketplacePrepare reports, presentations, and newsletter items for communicating with management and teams across the companyCreate a culture of transparency, information sharing, and collaboration through the development of excellent documentation, cross-departmental collaboration, and living Flock's valuesDevelop and communicate a risk-based and data-driven fraud prevention strategy in partnership with compliance, product, engineering, and operations stakeholdersShowcase a comprehensive understanding of marketplace fraud and risk to inform strategic product feedback and positioningWork closely with the Issue Resolution and Carrier Compliance teams to support the broader Risk Management organizationMitigate fraud by carefully monitoring digital activity, analyzing data and implementing changes for safe practice within our digital marketplace


Qualifications

A passion for building processes from the ground upStrong interpersonal and communications skills3+ years experience in e-commerce risk management, fraud prevention, and operations including time at a high-growth startupExperience working with tech and operations teams to drive internal security projects and incident remediationExperience in building fraud rules and identifying fraud trends in a digital environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindsetAdvanced analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability in using data and metrics to identify problems and arrive at the right prioritization decisions.Ability to quickly grasp complex systems and processes and use technology to drive process improvementsDetail-oriented - Exercise extreme attention to detail; is accurate, organized and productiveAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

The expected on-target earnings range for this position is $94,000 to $123,000 per year. When determining an offer, we take into account a variety of factors that are important in making compensation decisions including, but not limited, to: skill sets; experience and tenure; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is based on market data for the greater San Diego area. Salary bands may, in some circumstances, be adjusted to a different geographic area depending on the candidate's position and location. In general, Flock Freight targets the mid-point of this salary range.

In addition to salary, full-time employees are also eligible for an equity package and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Flock Freight. Our policy is that we target candidates local to one of Flock Freight’s headquarters locations (San Diego or Chicago) and ask that employees work in-office in a hybrid capacity.
